We arrived home last night after a wonderful long weekend in Nashville. We attended the "Michael W. Smith and Friends" Valentine's Weekend at the Opryland Hotel. It was such a wonderful time and we both got to meet Michael W. Smith and Matthew West. Chris took me trail riding, we went to the Grand Ole Opry and I even was treated to a Swedish massage at the resort spa. I'm going to attempt to add a video once I can figure out how to do that. (Disclaimer: I simply could not take a good picture this weekend. Must have been the TN humidity or something.)

After the Opry performance, there was a 70's disco dance back at the hotel. That is where we got to meet Michael W. Smith! Michael likes to sport a ball cap when he's not performing. (Again, what's with the pic of me? They say the camera adds about 10 pounds?? How about 40 pounds - all to my face?! Ugh!) Oh well, it's Smitty for cryin' out loud! I 'had' to post the photo.

This was taken on our trail ride. Chris and I stopped by a nice little creek and he proposed to me all over again! To think after nearly 20 years, he still thinks he'd do it all over again!

AND . . . I got to meet him. He seems like a really nice guy. (Okay, I just have to point out again how poor this picture is of me. My brother once asked my parents if I was part Chinese - know you see why!)

Michael W. Smith led the worship on Sunday morning. It was so cool!
